２月１５日に、縄文海進（縄文時代の海水面上昇）と地球温暖化による海水面上昇について研究している３チーム７名の生徒が、東京大学で開催された第７回全国海洋教育サミットに参加し、ポスター発表を行いました。生徒たちは課題研究の成果と今後の課題についてプレゼンテーションを行い、他の参加者からの質問に答えました。また、発表後は専門家による講演やパネルディスカッションを聴講し、海洋リテラシーと気候変動に関する理解を深めました。

Poster presentations at Marine Education Summit

On February 15, three teams of seven students from the Jomon-transgression study group attended the Marine Education Summit at the University of Tokyo.  They gave poster presentations about climate change and the problem of rising sea levels.  They also attended the lecture meeting in the afternoon and deepened their understanding of marine literacy and climate change.
