『自然災害と防災・減災』チームは、小学生に防災の大切さを伝える活動を市内の小学校2校で行いました。

当日は、5時間目の授業時間をいただき、「暗闇の中を歩くとどのような危険があるのか」、「非常用持ち出し袋の中身は何を入れるべきか」、「災害時に正確に情報を伝えるためには」について疑似体験するアクティビティを実施し、いつ起こるかわからない自然災害への対策がいかに重要であるかを伝えました。

課題研究で学んだことを実践する場となり、防災意識向上のためのアクティビティの有効性を検討する貴重な機会となりました。小学生のみなさん、ありがとうございました。

On February 5th and 12th, the Meiji Gakuen High School students who belong to the group of disaster prevention against natural disasters gave a lecture on disaster prevention to 6th-year students in Tenraiji elementary school, 4th-year students in Ichieda elementary school. Both of the schools are a municipal school in Kitakyushu. The purpose of the lecture is to improve the disaster prevention awareness of the younger generation. The elementary school students learned the risk of walking in darkness, the importance of preparing what they need for an emergency, and the importance of communicating with each other to survive a natural disaster. Many of the elementary school students enjoyed activities organized by the high school students, and studied about the importance of disaster prevention. It was a valuable opportunity for our students to learn about the activities for improving disaster prevention awareness. Thank you for your participation in the our lecture!

The students will continue these activities in Kiyakyushu.
