11月7日～8日に「『世界津波の日』2017　高校生　島サミット　in　沖縄」が開催され、1年生3名が参加しました。このサミットに向けて、「地震と防災・減災」というテーマで研究し、地震の脅威と防災・減災の重要性について学んできました。分科会では司会を務め、総会での分科会報告を行うなど活躍しました。

High School Students Islands Summit on World Tsunami Awareness Day 2017 in Okinawa Three high school first year students participated in the “High School Students Islands Summit on World Tsunami Awareness Day 2017 in Okinawa”, which was held on November 7th and 8th. In preparation for the summit they did research on and learned the importance of “Earthquake Disaster Prevention and Risk Reduction”. In group discussion they acted as moderator and gave a report in the general meeting about their group’s discussion.
