11月25日に「日本活断層学会秋季学術大会」の高校生ポスター発表に高校１年生9名が参加しました。日本活断層学会は、活断層を専門とする世界初の学会として10年前に発足し、初の試みとして、高校生ポスター発表が設定されました。世界を代表する活断層研究者の方から貴重なご助言をいただきました。

Japanese Society for Active Fault Studies Autumn Science Fair/Meeting/Competition On November 25th, nine first-year high school students made a poster presentation at the “Japanese Society for Active Fault Studies Autumn Science Fair/Meeting/Competition”. The Japanese Society for Active Fault Studies (JSAF), which is the world’s first academic society to specialize in active faults, establish the poster presentation conference. The students received valuable advice from representatives of active fault researchers from around the world.
