1月3日（水）から7日（日）にかけて課題研究「海外支援計画の策定」（南方海域班）生徒6名と引率者2名がパラオで実地研修を行いました。 リサイクルセンターや在パラオ国大使館、JICAパラオ支所のほか、マリステラ小学校やパラオ国立病院などを見学しました。 また、最終日には太平洋戦争の激戦地ペリリュー島を訪問しました。現地の方へのインタビューも数多く行い、研究活動を進める生徒にとっては充実した4日間となりました。

As a part of the SGH course on South Pacific Study in Meiji Gakuen High school, six students and two teachers visited Palau from January 3rd to 7th. They visited the Recycle Center (Solid Waste Management Office in Koror), JICA Palau office, Maris Stella Elementary School and Belau National Hospital, interviewed the people working there and broadened their perspective for their future research. They also had a chance to go to Peleliu, which was one of the fiercest battle fields between the U.S. and Japan during the Second World War.
