『自然災害と防災・減災』チームは、6月9日～10日に名古屋・根尾谷巡検を実施しました。

名古屋市では、名古屋市港防災センター・名古屋大学減災連携センターを訪問し、名古屋市周辺地域の防災・減災意識向上のための取り組みを学びました。また、名古屋高等学校の「減災チーム」と交流し、「高校生としてどのようにして自然災害の防災・減災のために貢献するべきか」というテーマで議論を行い、同じ高校生が行っている先進的な取り組みについて学びました。また、1891年濃尾地震の原因である根尾谷断層が保存されている観察館を訪問しました。ここでは1度の地震で６mの断層崖が出現し、地震の原因が断層であることを証明した根尾谷断層を見学しました。

On June 9th and 10th , Meiji Gakuen High School students who belong to the group of disaster prevention against natural disastes visited Nagoya in Aichi and Motosu in Gifu. They studied about disaster prevention measures of Nagoya city against natural disaster and about the Nobi Earthquake in 1891. Also they discussed disaster prevention with the “Gensai team “of Nagoya High School . They learned a lot about disaster prevention and reduction.
