『自然災害と防災・減災』チームは、6月12日に北九州市役所を訪問し、松元照仁副市長に今までの研究活動について報告しました。高校生が主体的になって防災・減災のために行動することの重要性について市の職員の方々と議論を行いました。副市長から様々な視点をいただき、「明治学園が中心となって、防災の輪を広げてほしい」という温かいお言葉をいただきました。

On June 12th, Meiji Gakuen High School students who belong to the group of disaster prevention against natural disasters visited Kitakyushu city office. They discussed disaster prevention with Deputy Mayor, Mr.　Matsumoto. They learned a lot about disaster prevention and reduction measures of Kitakyushu city, and they felt encouraged by his words.
