『自然災害と防災・減災』チームは、10月13日～14日の文化祭バザーにおいて、熊本地震の被災者のための募金活動を行いました。

9月1日に開催した地震防災シンポジウムで、熊本地震から2年たった今でも多くの人々が、まだ仮設住宅で生活をしているという現状を知りました。そこで課題研究で学んだ、「行動すること」の重要性を実践する場と考え、募金活動を行いました。当日は、多くの寄付をいただき、総額74,075円でした。この寄付金は「赤い羽根共同募金」を通して全額熊本へ寄付します。

On October 13th-14th, Meiji Gakuen High School students who belong to the group of disaster prevention against natural disasters conducted a fundraising activity for the victims of Kumamoto Earthquake. They decided to do this because of what they learned during a symposium about disaster prevention. They learned that many people in Mashiki town are still living in temporary housing, even though two years have already passed since the earthquake. On the day of their cultural festival, in total they collected 74,075 yen and will send this donation to Kumamoto through Red Feather Campaign.
