英語スピーチコンテストで中学２年生２名受賞！

中学２年生の中島碧優さんが、シャロンカップコンテスト（折尾愛真高等学校主催の暗誦コンテスト）で第３位、また同じく２年生の佐藤愛純さんが、高円宮杯第７３回全日本中学校英語弁論大会（読売新聞社主催）福岡県大会で第５位を受賞しました。
中島さんは“The miracle of the Loaves and Fishes”という聖書の一部を、抑揚をつけながら多彩な声色を使い分けて暗唱しました。
佐藤さんは “Think Together, Think Bousai” というタイトルで、防災意識の向上のために、私たちが日ごろから取り組んでいきたいことについて力強く呼びかけ、そして表現豊かに発表しました。

Miyu Nakashima, a Junior High School second grader, has won the third prize in the Sharon Cup Contest hosted by Orio Aishin Senior High School. She recited parts of the Bible using a variety of vocal tones.
Azumi Sato, also a Junior High School second grader, has won the fifth prize in H.I.H Prince Takamado Trophy All Japan Inter-Middle School English Oratorial Contest Prefectural tournament, hosted by The Yomiuri Newspaper. She presented about the necessity of the consciousness of disaster prevention and mitigation and what we can do to improve it.
