2月19日（水）、SGH運営指導委員や学校評価委員、地域・学校関係者、保護者をお招きして成果報告会が行われました。

校長からは5年間のSGHの取り組みの成果が発表され、「自律した学習者」という目指す生徒像が明確になったことや、そのためのカリキュラム開発が進んだことなどが挙げられました。また、中学や高校1年の段階で、生徒が主体的に「問い」を立て、思考を深めていくプロセスを重視するカリキュラムを実施することで、高校2年の課題研究がより円滑に進むようになったことが挙げられました。

その後、「食品ロス問題の解決と小学校への啓発活動の関連性」（高校1年）と「グローバル人材の育成『上靴で世界を救う！！～人と環境が求める上靴作り～』」（高校2年）の発表があり、研究の成果が披露され、活発な質疑応答が繰り広げられました。

高校１年生プレ課題研究の発表

On Wednesday, February 19, SGH Committee members gave reports of the year’s activities to school officials, members of the community, and parents.

The principal announced the results of the SGH’s five-year initiative, stating that the students’ image of “autonomous learners” was clarified and that there has been progress in curriculum development for that purpose. In addition, in the junior high school and first year of high school, classes in which students ask questions independently and emphasis is placed on the process of deepening their thoughts have been developed.  These classes should ensure that the research projects that students undertake in the second grade of high school will proceed more smoothly.

After the report from school staff two groups of students gave presentations.　The research projects entitled, “Relationship between food loss problem and educational activities for elementary schools” (Global Career Education, high school 1st grade), and “Saving the world with shoes!  Making shoes for people and the environment” (Global Human Resources Research Group, high school 2nd grade) were explained, and lively question and answer sessions followed the presentations.
