今年度より中学１年生から中学３年生までアカデミックメソッドという授業を行っています。この授業は、自分たちで協力し合いながら考えを深めていく力をつけていく授業です。中学３年間で、「他者と協力しお互いを高め合うソーシャルスキル」「人を納得させるためのプレゼンテーションスキル」「考察を深めていく探究スキル」を身につけて、高校生からの本格的な探究活動に備えます。「ぼくはアカデミックメソッドが本当に好きです」（中２男子）「アカデミックメソッドで自分と違う考えに触れることが面白いです」（中２女子）といった感想を残してくれる生徒もいます。明治学園でしか体験できない授業に生徒はとても一生懸命に取り組んでいます。生徒のこれからの成長が楽しみです。

We started the class “Academic Method” for junior high school students this year. This class was created by teachers in Meijigakuen for students to acquire social, presentation and academic skills. In this class students prepare for the research activities that they  will do in their high school days. Some students say “I like Academic Method very much” and “It is interesting to hear our different viewpoints in Academic Method”. Students are very keen to learn in this class. We are looking forward to seeing their development over the coming years.
