８月２０日に、カンボジアの児童福祉について研究している『ASEAN』チームの生徒３名が、東京にあるNPO団体「幼い難民を考える会」と「礎の石孤児院」を訪問しました。実際に現地で活動されている方々から、現状の問題点を伺うとともに、これまでの研究活動の中で考えた改善策を提案し、それに対する様々なご意見を頂くことができました。これらの機会を通じて、今後の研究活動の発展につながる多くの知見を得ることができました。

On August 20, three students from the ASEAN research project group who are researching child welfare in Cambodia visited Tokyo. In Tokyo, they visited two NPOs,「CARING FOR YOUNG REFUGEES」and「The Cornerstone Orphanage」. The students were able to ask people who are active in their local community about current problems. They also talked about the ideas they have for improvement measures, and received feedback and opinions. Through these activities, the students were able to gain knowledge and ideas for how to proceed with there research projects.
