「グローバルイシューとしての外来生物」の竹チーム（高等学校2年の江崎春菜さん、高曦さん、薗田裕理さん、堀愛さん、亀園佳利くん、三好桔平くん）は、1月29日(火)に、外来生物であるモウソウチクの駆除方法を模索するために、竹炭を活用する企業である「株式会社炭化」様を見学させていただきました。企業見学では、代表取締役社長の入江康雄様より、世界を見据えた企業理念をきかせていただくとともに、工場内の見学や企業の方々と研究協議もさせていただきました。

On January 29th, The “Invasiv Species as a Global Issue” project study group’s Bamboo Team, consisting of 2nd grade high school students, Haruna Ezaki, Shiori Koh, Yuri Sonoda, Mana Hori, Keito Kamezono, and Kippei Miyoshi, visited “TANKA Co.,Ltd”. The company manufactures bamboo charcoal as a method to help exterminate the invasive species moso bamboo. During the visit, representative director and president of the company __ Irie spoke about the principles of the company the keep track of the world. He also gave students a tour of the factory and discussed the various topics of research by the company.
