明治学園中学校ESS部では、英語のゲームや歌などを通して、英語に親しむ活動をしています。
投稿を見てくださっている皆さまにも英語を身近に感じていただきたいという思いで、今回は学校行事の「聖母の集い」を英語で紹介します。

In May, we had the Virgin Mary Assembly. In Christianity, May is the month that celebrates the Virgin Mary. So this month is the most important for our school.

This year, we learned about Ms. Lena Maria. She lives with a congenital disability. We listened to her sing the song “Hana Mo.” She has a very beautiful voice, and I was deeply moved by the song.

I was moved by her beautiful voice and her positivity. She has so much confidence. So I aspire to be more like her and I want to support people like her.

Fortunately, my school has many chances to do so. It’s the ”Mouth and Foot Painting Artist’s Association”. I want to support them through this.
