Application Procedures

Applications for Meiji Gakuen Elementary School are accepted strictly via the online web portal.

• Web Application Portal: By filling out the required fields in the web form, you can seamlessly complete the application submission, application document creation, and examination ticket generation.
• Statement of Purpose: The form includes a field for 'Reason for Application' (approx. 250 Japanese characters / 500 English characters). Preparing your draft in advance will ensure a smooth registration process.
• Photo Integration: Uploading the applicant's photo on the form will automatically embed the photo on both the official Application Form and Examination Ticket.

Applicant Photograph Specifications

• Dimensions & Size: Vertical image with dimensions of at least 800px (height) × 600px (width) (Guideline: 5.0 cm height × 4.0 cm width).
• File Limit: Maximum file size: 4 MB.
• Photo Style: Upper body, hatless, taken within the last 3 months.

* Please ensure the applicant's face is clearly visible. Photos taken with a smartphone camera are acceptable provided they meet the clarity and resolution guidelines.

Steps to Complete Application

1. Step 1 - Online Registration: Access the web application portal from the school homepage and select the desired examination schedule.
2. Step 2 - Examination Fee Payment: Pay the examination fee of JPY 11,000 via online payment system.
3. Step 3 - Application Form Generation: Complete all required fields online to generate the official Application Form.
4. Step 4 - Print Examination Ticket: Print the generated Examination Ticket with the registered photo attached.
5. Step 5 - Principal Interview Reservation: Reserve the preferred date and time slot for the Principal Interview online.
